CERN Science Gateway has welcomed 500,000 visitors since its opening on 8 October 2023.

Damian (left) offered a two-day trip to Geneva, Switzerland, to Saira (right), with an obligatory stop at Science Gateway. He is an Architecture student, she studies Mathematics, and both were excited to discover CERN.

As a thank–you treat for their visit, Damian and Saira enjoyed a meal at the Big Bang Café and received the book edited by the Fondazione Renzo Piano about the construction of CERN's science and outreach centre.
